How long will it take to pass my driving test?

Everyone learns at a different pace. The time it takes to pass your driving test varies for each individual, depending on your prior experience, how quickly you pick things up, and how regularly you take lessons. We focus on ensuring you are confident and safe on the road, not just rushing to a test.

How many lessons will I need?
The number of lessons required varies greatly from person to person. The DVSA recommends around 45 hours of professional instruction combined with 20 hours of private practice. We'll assess your progress regularly and advise you on the best course of action to ensure you're test-ready.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson?

We understand that life can be unpredictable. We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the slot to another pupil. Please refer to our terms and conditions for full details or contact us directly if you need to make changes.

Can I learn to drive in my own car?
For your safety and effective learning, all driving lessons are conducted in our specially equipped dual-control car. This ensures that your instructor can intervene if necessary, providing a secure and controlled learning environment. Private practice can be done in your own car with a qualified driver.

Do you offer intensive driving courses?
Yes, we do offer intensive driving courses for those who wish to learn at a faster pace. These courses are designed to condense your learning into a shorter period. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we can tailor a package that suits your availability and learning style.

I'm feeling anxious about learning to drive, what should i do?

It's completely normal to feel anxious or nervous when starting driving lessons. At Pass with Cas, we specialise in helping nervous drivers to feel at ease. Our lessons are tailoed to your comfort level, and we'll progress at a pace that suits you, building confidence step by step. We create a calm and supportive environment to help you overcome any worries.
